• I couldn't recommend Ludmila enough! She taught my son for 6 years and did an excellent job not only of teaching him the piano and recorder in a serious but relaxed way, and with huge reserves of patience, but also of bringing the whole family together for lovely concerts of which we have lasting and fond memories.

  • My 2 daughters have had private lessons with Liuda for 4 years. It was a great experience, the goal of which was to learn play an instrument, learn music grammar and learn to appreciate music. They have accomplished all that under Liuda's good-natured and enthusiastic supervision. During these 4 years Liuda also involved them in concert activity in different venues from big to small, which is also a big stimulus for a student.

  • An experienced teacher, L.Podgaiskaia develops our Kira musically through her rich with various activities lessons, when fun is skillfully mixed with education…in a way that keeps our daughter thrilled about attending…and we all see excellent results.

  • Ludmila Podgaiskaia is a unique music teacher. She has the best training but wears all her classical expertise lightly, and teaches the pleasure and enjoyment as well as the techniques of music. My child started lessons on piano and recorder aged 7. Your children will discover a wide range of different pieces, all perfectly chosen for their level and motivating them to learn a new musical step or style and to develop as confident musicians. Some of my fondest memories are of the little concerts Ludmila put together for three of the families whose children she was teaching. The programmes allowed for solo and ensemble performance and every child was able to shine, with no stress or anxiety. They were enormous fun for everyone and brought something very special into our lives.

  • I chose home music education for my son since he was 3 y.o. Here are several benefits of such form: during the first years this is an opportunity to work not for mark, but for pleasure, which is the main stimulus for small kids; one can choose a teacher personally while at schools it's a question of luck to find a good teacher; it allows to follow the child's rhythm and save your own time.

  • Our daughter Lena, was 2 years and 4 months old when we started attending the music class. A bit hesitant at first, she has grown do really love this class. Liudmila Podgaiskaia does a fantastic job of alternating between singing, dancing, playing the recorder and practicing the musical notes, and she guids the right pace and tone do keep the small children's attention through out the 50-minute class. This music class has become a high-light of our daughter's week and we will very much miss it when we leave St.Petersburg this summer. Thank you!

  • My daughter is nearly 4 years old and absolutely loves coming to her music lessons. She loves singing and learning the recorder and dancing, and talks about it all week. She has grown in confidence of performing too. Liudmila is very good at teaching the children in a fun way and the children really respond well to her.
